Welcome to Chapmeek Rottweilers and Staffordshire Bull Terriers

Hello and welcome to Chapmeek’s website.

This tells you how we became involved with these two wonderful breeds, the Rottweiler & Staffordshire Bull Terriers.

Previously, we had always owned and loved German Shepherds but when we lost our last Shepherd, Dutch, in 2002 at the age of 13, we agreed that was the end of an era for us – Dutch was ‘irreplaceable’.

Then along came our first Rottweiler, whom we called Joker Joe! What a STAR he was, and the rest is history!!

We now have 12 Rottweilers, eight boys ( which are at stud to approved bitches) and four girls, one of which is a rescue and will remain with us.

We also have 3 Staffordshire Bull Terriers ( one that used to belong to a lady I used to look after ), (Shegirl sheba, she will also be staying with us) and Woody.

We are also ‘foster parents’ for Rottweiler and Staffordshire Bull Terrier Welfare. This is highly rewarding especially when they find the perfect home.

All our dogs live indoors, including the foster ‘children’, as one BIG happy family. They have been fed the raw diet for the last five years and as you will see from the pictures, they look very well on it.

We are also very lucky in that we have our own hydrotherapy pool for dogs and as you can see from the video clips, they LOVE it, as do most of the foster ‘kids’.

All our dogs are pets first and foremost. Of course, if and when they do well at shows, we are highly delighted, but most important is that the dogs have enjoyed their day – that is what matters most.

With the right care, love and attention, Rottweilers & Staffordshire Bull Terriers make fantastic pets.
